Is there anyone who might be able to explain to me the strange, abrupt ending of the QUIET, PLEASE episode entitled "It's Later Than You Think", the story about the soldier wearing a time-travel wristwatch? I understood every bit of it, ESPECIALLY the subtleties, until the last few seconds at the end. I suspect it's something obvious and simple. But I've replayed it several times and cannot get it.
Lindsay was living 2 hours into the past for years because the watch was stuck. Seargent Kilroy comes over to shoot him and steal the "trick watch", but because Lindsay unsticks it right before (or as?) he's shot and sets it forward to the real time that somehow means that Kilroy is stuck for two hours with the body. I'm not sure why though.
