My assumption would be that the archive of "Radio Mirror" magazines could be a good resource of time slots and weekday of what was airing - because their monthly tv-guide like schedule grids looked to be a detailed and accurate resource.. "I believe the five-minute-long show that filled out the half hour during the Mutual run from October '47 to January '48 was called "Billy Rose Pitching Horseshoes," a radio version of a syndicated column by New York show-biz figure Billy Rose. The July-September '48 run featured five minutes of news." . While I have not as of yet found any scheduling from Oct 47 to confirm "Billy Rose.." But in the available listing for the July-Sept run do show Quiet Please at 9 on mondays is followed by an astric (*) in the following section which indicates in the schedule key for MBS: 9:55-10 PM Monday through Friday Johns-Manville Sponsor Bill Henry, news.
. Correction... The Jan 5 1948 edition of Broadcast (and others) does indeed also confirm the 5 minute program of Billy Rose was used to fill the remaining time after Quiet Please 24:30 minute long programs during that run:
